作为加拿大安大略省高中课程OSSD（Ontario Secondary School Diploma）是全世界最先进的中学课程体系之一，以其优质严格的教学管理在全世界具有极高的认可度，是进入世界大学的通用文凭。相较于走高考路径的国内学生来讲，由于中国与英国的学制略有不同，通常来说，通过国内高考想申英国名校本科的学生，都需要先入读英国的预科 ，除非有特别好的高考分数，才可以豁免预科。对于不是在高考取得很理想成绩的同学，往往都需要多花半年到一年的时间来进行预科的学习，然而英国预科的水平参差不齐，更并非是等同上了大学，那如何能直接跨过预科直接进入英国大学本科的学习呢？英国的本土体系A LEVEL课程可以，OSSD课程同样是一个很好的选择（重要的事情说三遍！OSSD毕业的学生可以豁免预科！豁免预科！豁免预科！）。
