Sport is very important at SUIS-Gubei and our school values encourage all students to participate in sport and value the importance of exercise and team competition.

体育运动在协和古北是非常重要的一门学科，我们鼓励所有学生参加体育运动，重视运动锻炼和团队竞争的重要性。

The theme of the flag-raising ceremony in April is "Sports". Student representative Julia Jin from G9 shares "HOW SPORTS IMPACTED MY LIFE". The most anticipated sports day also came to a successful conclusion on 18th April.

4月升旗仪式的主题为“运动”，来自9年级的学生代表金家齐分享“运动如何改变了我的生活“。同时最令人期待的运动会也在周二圆满落幕。

 

Flag-raising Ceremony

On April 17th, SUIS-Gubei held a flag-raising ceremony with the theme of sports.

本周一，协和古北举办了一场主题为“运动”的升旗仪式。

Chinese Principal Mr. Liu and Vice Principal Mr. Bunting made a speech at the flag-raising ceremony.

Student representative Julia Jin from G9 shares "HOW SPORTS IMPACTED MY LIFE".

9年级的学生代表金家齐分享“运动如何改变了我的生活“。

Regular exercises not only ungraded my immunity, but on the larger scale, it boosted by physical appearance.

Sports changed my personality, my level of competition, as well as the way I manage myself. Personally, doing sports made me an outgoing and easygoing person. Sports have given me stronger self management skills，in other words self-discipline.

So no matter what i do, or where i go, sports will always be a huge part of my life because it has helped me become who i am.

Apart from all the physical and physiological benefits that doing sports may bring, is that sports is for everyone, and that in the vast majority of aerobic and anaerobic exercises, there will always be one that brings you joy.

定期锻炼不仅提高了我的免疫力，更重要的是它还提升了我的形象。

运动改变了我的个性、竞争水平以及我对自己的管理方式。就个人而言，运动让我成为一个外向、随和的人。运动让我具备了更好地自我管理技能，即自律能力。

无论我做什么，或者我去哪里，运动始终是我生活中的一个重要组成部分，让我变成了现在更好的我。

运动体育运动是适合每个人的，大部分的有氧和无氧运动，不仅让我们的身体获益，还会让你感受到快乐。

Sports Day

The horn sounded the beginning of the 2023 Sports Day at SUIS-Gubei. With warm sunshine, bright smiles, and the joy of spring。On April 18th， all teachers and students were divided into four Houses and engaged in intense competition.

青春的号角吹醒了明媚的阳光，迎着春日的暖阳，伴着青草的清香，2023运动会的集结号在协和古北吹响。昨天，全体师生按照四大House分组，展开了激烈的比拼。
